My given name is Vera Fernandes, while I publish under the pen name Veera Mukta. The name I write by reflects an inner orientation — a movement toward freedom and awakening.

My work explores a simple understanding: humanity is not separate from the world — we are one of its expressions. Like a fruit on a tree, we arise from the same source that moves rivers, shapes mountains, and breathes through forests.
